Rebels FC Men take on MI Soccer

Rebels FC Men took on MI Soccer in an away game at Spindler Park Field this Sunday morning. Game conditions were a windy 55 degrees. Rebels started out strong, keeping the pressure on the offensive side of the field, but were unable to capitalize on a few chances until Antonio M. (#12) was able to get a shot off on the keeper, the keeper made the save but dropped the ball where Enrique R. (#17) was able to knock the ball in the back of the net putting the Rebels up 1-0. The half ended with the Rebels up 1-0.rn rnThe second half is where the Rebels really took over, netting 5 goals, 4 of which from forward Angelo V.(#9). The Rebels played strong in all aspects of the game, shutting down the opposition on the defensive side and scoring in bunches on the offensive side to breeze past MI Soccer 6-0.
